The first part of EFT logistics solutions is providing an efficient data management system for each user¡¯s branch. The EFT-eCargo system is a valuable operation and management system for freight forwarders. It provides flexible operation workflow support and accurate management of data and statistics. Major functions of EFT-eCargo include booking, generating and printing bills of lading, calculating exchange rates, agent balances, AR, AP, cash management, bank reconciliations, generating profit and loss and additional reports and statistics.
The second part of EFT logistics solutions is EDI. The EDI functions of EFT-eCargo enable forwarders to file AMS directly to US CBP, send electronic bookings and eSI (Electronic Shipping Instruction) information to shipping companies or airlines. High quality and efficient EDI cuts down the cost of traditional phone calls and faxing, and saves some time from the repetitive input of data.
The third part of EFT logistics solutions is data gathering and exchange in a central system. The EFT-eCargo system for each branch automatically sends information to a central system. In connection with the cargo status provided by shipping companies, airlines and US Customs, the central system provides real time cargo tracking information to forwarders and their customers. The central system also collects the sales, income and expense information from each branch, which may be in a different country, converts those data into the same currency, then generates the daily, monthly and annual reports for the entire company.
The fourth part of EFT logistics solutions is the central system will automatically send the information collected from the export forwarder to the EFT-eCargo system of the import forwarder. All the relevant import information including PO, B/L, agent fee, collect fee are automatically exchanged to the import side without double manual input.
Other products of EFT such as EFT-eRate, EFT-eDoc, EFT-eSales, EFT-eWHS, are all fully integrated with EFT-eCargo.
